Mystic Song School : OrientaTion

We are headed back to school.
Usually this happens in the fall, but At Mystic Song School we will follow the Zodiac of the Lunar New Year. Which begins Sunday, January 22, 2023

We are about to begin the Year of the Rabbit. 
The last year of the Rabbit was 2011. The year I released my first album. This year I launch a School.

In January and February, I will be teaching my elementary music students all about the Lunar New Year and the traditions shared in Eastern Cultures. and On Patreon I will share fun lessons and music for Grown Up Students too.  

The Mystic Song School is Organized by Classical Elemental Symbols. When I attended ORFF and learned that music education is Elemental, this was what sparked in my mind. I dove deeper into the musicology and found ideas of vibrations and rhythms that awaken creative soul. So this is where will will begin. You may choose your own Sign.   Western astrology uses the four classical elements in connection with astrological charts and horoscopes. The twelve signs of the zodiac are divided into the four elements: Fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, Air signs are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, and Water signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

The Greek Philosopher Empedocles called the Elements
the "Roots."  This is where we will begin our study,
this is where we will begin to grow. 

EARTH - CAPRICORN, TAURUS, VIRGO

Earth Energy is Grounding, Present, Mother, Nurturing, Stable

WATER - CANCER, SCORPIO, PISCES

​Water Energy is Flow, Creative, Dream space, Inner Child work.

FIRE - ARIES, LEO, SAGITTARIUS

​Fire Energy is Passionate, Playful, Driven, Action Orientated.

Each soul, accordingly, while it is in its body
​is weighted and constricted by these four.
Empedocles philosophized that Love and Strife articulated the roots. choreographing a sort of dance between them.  

I will organize Lessons, Songs, and Stories by Elements. It's just for my own organization. You can choose whichever Sign you'd like. Every Patron will have the same access to everything. We are all Students/Musicians/Creators.
